A basketball team’s athleticism is the foundation of their entire game.
If a team can improve their collective strength, explosiveness, quickness, reaction
and overall conditioning level then they can perform the skills of the game (shooting,
ball handling, passing, rebounding, and defending) at a higher level, with more
efficiency, and for longer before fatigue sets in. That is why the best teams are
in the best shape!
Who is this for?
- If you work with Junior High, High School, or College age basketball players (male
and female) – The Stronger Team Huddle will give you an edge over your competition.
This all-inclusive weekend course is an exclusive and thorough learning experience
taught by two world renowned experts in the field.
What is the goal?
- If you want to maximize your team’s on-court performance, you have to lay a solid
foundation. The Stronger Team Huddle will teach you everything you need to design,
implement and properly supervise a comprehensive, purposeful, year-round basketball
specific strength & conditioning program.
What is the format?
- Primarily lecture based with hands-on participation, demonstration, and discussions

- Bound manual with in-depth sections on the entire curriculum

Schedule for March 23-25, 2012
- Friday: 6-9pm
- Define basketball athleticism and why it is the foundation of every player/team’s
game
- Teach the 20 exercises and drills that are the foundation of the Stronger
Team philosophy & methodology
- Saturday: 9-1pm (12-1pm Q & A)
- Teach up-to-date, cutting edge, safe, efficient, practical and purposeful
year-round (off-season, pre-season & in-season) program design:
Frequency, intensity, volume, rep ranges, overload techniques, exercise modifications/progressions,
muscular balance, training age, male/female
- Saturday: 2-5pm
- Teach the above components for each of the following aspects of basketball
athleticism:
Mental prep, pre-hab, warm-up, dynamic flexibility & mobility, strength,
power, balance, agility, quickness & reaction, conditioning, nutrition, rest
& recovery
- Saturday: 7-11pm
- Dinner at Hank's Eats with
Huddle staff and participants
- Sunday: 9-1pm (12-1pm Q & A)

Testing, common myths & misconceptions, popular exercises we avoid, working
with multi-sport athletes, how to be effective with no equipment, motivational techniques,
working on your craft

responsibility to get to the Greenbelt Marriott on Friday afternoon. Once you arrive,
